Using life is an unpublished experiment because it intersperses comic stories of Ayman al Zorkany in the narration of Ahmad Nayi's novel. Distantly related, both narratives have been highly acclaimed in Egypt until
point of achieving merchandising with his drawings. The publisher, Dar al Tanweer, has not only opted for innovative Egyptian products like this book but has also risked translating into Arabic comics such as
Palestine by Joe Sacco.
